Hi, my name is Amber Lehman.
I am a wardrobe stylist based in Nashville, TN. I have been doing wardrobe styling for myself for my whole life, for my friends since I can remember, and calling it a career for about five years now.
I actually didn’t move to Music City to do wardrobe, although I secretly hoped I’d eventually end up doing something like this. Actually, the reason I came here in 2001 was to pursue a Ph.D. at Vanderbilt University in microbiology. I spent about four years there researching a virus called RSV. Fortunately, when I left to pursue fashion, the kind folks in my department were gracious enough to offer me a M.S. for my time and effort. And I even contributed, albeit a small addition, to the science landscape.
After Vandy, there have been more than a couple part-time jobs, including buyer and boutique manager for Emmaline in Franklin, TN, where I had my first professional fashion experience, learning the ins and outs of wholesale. While I was working there, I started my business, Amber Lehman Styling, on the side and eventually left Emmaline to pursue my business full-time. It has been my pleasure to work with prominent Christian artists such as Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin, and Mercy Me as well as well-known country and Top 40 artists Kenny Chesney, Julianne Hough, Collective Soul, 3 Doors Down, and former front-man for Tonic, Emerson Hart. I have styled print ads and promos for nationally-televised programming on ABC, CMT, and FOX, and my work has appeared in a few magazines along the way, including People, US Weekly, Atlanta Peach, and OK!.
